Temporary digs while the Chalet is rented out for the weekend and our village walk after meeting the Brits at the local pub.
The Geneva Water Fountain...per Wikipedia: "Soon after being finished, the fountain became the symbol of strength, ambition and vitality of Geneva and Switzerland. Its strong engines pump 500 liters of water per second to the height of 450 feet" Sorry the blog has taken a back seat for awhile, will do my best to get caught up. The peaks often get new snow after it rains here but 2 weeks ago we got a dusting in the village. It only lasted a short while, but so pretty! Gives you an idea of what this ski town must look like. GPS tracking might be a more peaceful option but the bells look cool! Click video link below: Cheese, meat, fresh veggies, crepes and views...what more could you ask for at a local farmers market! |
